Solars Observers Society in Poland looking for new members. Observations of the Sun aren't difficult and safety if will be assured security measures (observing Sun on the screen, or good filter inserted on the telescope's lens). SOS today has members e.g. from Poland, New Zealand, Germany, The Commonwealth of Australia, Japan, Bolivia, and Norvay. Results of observations are published in TOS Homepage (here is the last communicate) http://tos.astrowww.pl/komunikaty/pdf/2008/Kom_02_2008.pdf , and Polish astronomical magazines. These results are sent also to similar Solar Observers Societies in Germany, Belgium and USA...

Youth Astronomical Observatory from Niepolomice near Cracow was started new kind of lessons "ASTRONOMY IN ENGLISH". These lessons are leaded by PhD Zbigniew Glownia, which was worked about 20 years in Planetarium (USA).

Youth from YAO achieved many successes in an Astronomical Competitions, e.g. in recently Provincial Competition:
1st Place - Bartosz Kuler "Amateur observations of variable stars"
2nd Place - Marta Kotarba "GALAXY ZOO and me"
3rd Place - Paulina Sowicka "About rotations of celestial body... asteroid (4254) Kamel"
Maybe will be possible chat by Skype or other form, between youth astronomy amateurs from Serbia with youth astronomy amateurs from Niepolomice?
In future these teams will be meets personally e.g. on Serbian "Letenka" or an astronomical meeting in Poland?
