Petnica, the biggest and, probably, the oldest independent
nonprofit organization for extracurricular science education in SE
Europe is announcing IYRS 2005, a summer science program in English
language for students of age 17-20.
The main idea of the program is to gather gifted students,
extraordinary motivated for scientific research in a stimulating
surrounding, give them short but intensive course of the scientific
research methods and enable them to realize real research projects
under supervision of professional scientists.
This year, students will be offered courses and research problems
in astronomy, biology, ecology, linguistics, physics and psychology.
Lecturers and supervisors will be distinguished Petnica Science
Center associates from the country and abroad. Students from the
region of SE Europe are particularly encouraged to apply for IYRS
2005.
