We have seen your web site and your E Mail address through your inscription for YOUGOSLAVIA in the SETI program.

In June 2000, we have created a group of Seti users called: EUROPEAN UNION TEAM. We want to put together Seti users from country ACTUAL or FUTURE members of the European Union. And all the peoples who fell European.

We are already participants from BELGIUM, FRANCE, IRELAND, LUXEMBOURG, MALTA and PORTUGAL. We are only private peoples who supports the European idea with no link to business or politics.

As you can see in the ATTACHED DOCUMENT: still small but fast growing group!!! We have now well over 300 works units. The European Union CITIZEN represent 30% of the Seti users. Beside that, Europe also contribute to the collection of data through the radio telescope of Nançay in France:

So we wish to underline this European participation in the Seti program.

OUR PROJECT:

- To improve the Web page that we have just started with many links with site about Europe and Space research. Your own site could also be linked. To see the site:

- A MONTHLY LETTER to all members of the EUROPEAN UNION TEAM about our statistics and activities (the letter for September has already gone).

- Visit of different European facilities in astronomy, aeronautics and astronautics.

We will start the 21 April 2001 with a visit of the radio telescope of Nançay linked with the nearby famous music festival of Bourges. We could continue with Toulouse, its space city and the Airbus industry. Eventually we could then pay a visit to ARECIBO in Porto Rico (without forgetting the beach!).

We would appreciate very much to be joined by some peoples from Yougoslavia.

You will have to indicate your E Mail address and the password that SETI gave you by E Mail when you registered. If you already belong to a group, you can remain into it and give only your new units to ours . Or you can completely switch to our team by quitting the old group.
